Physical AI
Sensors, actuators, perception hardware, robotic end effectors.
Section 01 · Thesis
The next decade of industrial growth runs through hardware. Physical AI requires sensors, actuators, and precision drivetrains. Autonomous transportation requires harnesses, thermal systems, and electromechanical assemblies. Human augmentation requires miniaturized motors, gears, and enclosures. Aerospace requires precision-machined structures, propulsion components, and flight-qualified assemblies. None of it scales without the discrete component suppliers who already know how to make these parts at quality and at volume.
The American discrete component manufacturing base is established, profitable, and largely owned by founders ready to take their legacy to the next level of performance. Nodrys acquires these businesses, preserves what works, and positions their existing capabilities to serve the supply chains that will define the next decade.
Sensors, actuators, perception hardware, robotic end effectors.
Powertrains, harnesses, thermal management, electromechanical systems.
Precision motors, micro gears, lightweight enclosures, biomechanical components.
Propulsion components, avionics assemblies, structural and thermal hardware for reusable launch and commercial space.

Section 03 · Approach
Most acquirers of small manufacturing businesses are financial buyers running a playbook borrowed from someone else. Nodrys is the opposite. The first acquisition will be operated by the buyer as owner operator-president, applying twenty plus years of P&L leadership at Nordson, Oshkosh, and Illinois Tool Works to a business that has the potential to do more than its current owners ever asked of it.
Our approach is to diagnose within the first hundred days, accelerate through customer segmentation and operational discipline, and scale by repositioning the existing manufacturing capability into Manufacturing 4.0 and adjacent high growth supply chains. The current customer base is preserved as the stable foundation. Growth is built on top of it.
We do not flip businesses. We do not load them with debt. We do not replace the team that built the business. Nodrys is structured as a multi acquisition holding platform to expand capabilities of the platform
We measure time in customers retained and employees grown.
Section 04 · The Playbook
What Nodrys brings to a discrete component manufacturer is not theory. It is a value creation methodology refined across two decades of operating leadership at industrial companies such as Nordson, Oshkosh, and Illinois Tool Works, with results like doubling EBITDA in two years and reversing a declining business into double digit organic revenue growth. The same playbook. Different products. Same results.
First 100 days. Map the customer base, the team, the operating system. Find the levers.
80/20 customer focus. Top accounts get the most attention. The rest get standardized.
Pricing discipline, overhead restructure, on time delivery. Economics improve before growth begins.
New segmentation, innovation pipeline, salesforce realignment. Growth on top of optimized economics.
Each subsequent acquisition extends the platform and applies the playbook to a new business.
